Refund policy
When you can get your money back, and how to ask.
Your first payment
You can get your first payment back in full if you ask within 7 days of paying. You do not need to give a reason.
How to ask
Open Billing and choose Ask for a refund next to your first payment. The button shows while the payment can still be refunded. A person looks at your request. If something goes wrong, visit the Help page.
What cannot be refunded
Renewals and any payment after your first. A payment that was already refunded or disputed with your bank. An account we closed for breaking the terms. After 7 days, a request is up to us. Visit the Help page and we will take a look.
Cancelling and renewals
You can stop renewing at any time in Billing. You keep access until the end of the time you have paid for. Stopping renewal does not refund the time you already have.
Free trial
If you cancel during a free trial, you are not charged. If you do not cancel, your first payment is charged when the trial ends, and the 7 days start from that payment.
What happens to your access
When a refund is processed, your access to paid courses and any certificate from that payment ends straight away, and the membership stops renewing.
Gifts
If a gift is refunded, its code stops working. If it was already used, the time it gave ends too.
How you get the money
Card payments go back to the same card through Stripe. We cannot refund to a different card or account. We aim to finish within 5 to 7 business days. Your bank can take a few more days to show it.
UK customers
In the UK you have 14 days to cancel a digital purchase. If you ask for access to start straight away, you agree that you lose this right once it starts. The 7-day refund on your first payment still applies.
