Terms of use

AI Labs Courses is run by Autometa Limited. "We" and "us" mean Autometa Limited. These terms apply when you use this site, learn with Bytes, or pay for a membership or a course.

You must be 18 or older. You sign in with a one-time email link or with Google. There is no password to keep. One account is for one person, so please do not share it. You are responsible for keeping your email and sign-in safe.

A membership opens every course, project exam and certificate for the time you pay for. A single course opens that one course for the time you pay for. You buy time on the platform, not the course itself, so there is no lifetime access.

Card memberships renew every month or every year until you stop them. You can stop renewing at any time in Billing. You keep access until the end of the time you have already paid for.

Where a free trial is offered, it gives you 7 days of one course. You add a card to start it, and you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.

Bytes are free.

Prices are shown in your country's currency before you pay. Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or keep your full card details.

A promo code or a partner code takes money off the price shown. Only one code applies to an order, and the bigger discount is used. Any taxes the law requires are shown at checkout.

Your first payment can be refunded in full within 7 days. The Refund policy explains how to ask, what cannot be refunded and what happens to your access.

Each course has a project exam that a person grades. When you pass, you earn a certificate. It confirms you completed the course. It is not a qualification from an accredited body. We may remove a certificate if it was earned unfairly or if the payment is refunded.

Your profile is private. If you choose to make it public, employers can see the skills and certificates you choose to show. You can turn this off in Settings at any time.

Videos, materials and downloads are for your own use and not for business. You may not copy, resell, rebroadcast or share them, or let people who have not paid use your account. We keep all rights in the content.

AI Labs only hosts jobs. We do not employ, vet, recommend or guarantee any job, poster, applicant, pay or outcome, and we are not a party to any deal made between people who meet on the Jobs board. Jobs from partner sites are shown as those sites published them, and you apply on their site. Check any job yourself before you apply or accept work, and never pay to apply for one. People deal with each other directly and at their own risk. You can report a job from its page, and we may remove any job or post at any time.

If you apply to a job on AI Labs and choose to share your profile, we send the poster your public profile link and your note by email.

Please do not try to break the service, get around its protections, copy its content or use it for anything unlawful. We may close an account that does.

You can stop renewing at any time in Billing, or delete your account in Settings. We may end or restrict an account that breaks these terms.

The service is provided "as is". We work hard to keep the courses accurate and useful, but we cannot promise any result, such as a job or income. As far as the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the course or membership in question.

We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top of this page changes. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
